Nose- Rich with kirsch chocolate truffles, leads onto aniseed, stewed rhubarb and peaches as it opens.
Taste- Richly sherried with a good peppery edge before a fanfare of rich fruits and the zest of tangerine beautifully balanced before a finish of chocolate, dates and prunes. A finely tuned masterpiece for a malt of 40yo

Nose- Homely aromas of home baked cake, opening to reveal some light grape, gooseberry and some faint floral notes followed by candyfloss and cedar wood.
Taste- A rich full bodied Lowlander with honeycomb and just the right oak levels for such a dram, lightly spiced with some buttery tablet then a toughened leather and dry grassy finale. For a Lowland so old this is quite simply stunning stuff.

Nose- Light yet fragrant with honey, vanilla and lemon bonbon before revealing pine resin freshness with toffee apple and delicate spices.
Taste- Spices and oak combine then a fizz of lemon and mint julep offering a very refreshing quaffing dram. The finish is crisp, dry with a mild herb and soft white wine taste, a perfect choice for an aperitif malt whisky.

Nose- Musty and mossy to start with a distant hint of strawberry, the oak and the grain are perfectly detected against a backdrop of coffee, cream and shortbread.
Taste- Gingery spice mingles well with barley and oak. This has an oily mouth-feel and is very malty. A bit of a lazy dram ideal for those times when you just need to mellow out.

Nose- Chocolate, walnuts and coffee are the main contributors early on followed by treacle toffee, vanilla, a touch a merlot and waves of smoke
Taste- Rich muscular malt with a sweet glace fruitiness and roasted nut flavours, the finish allows the sherry to deliver elegantly through the oak, treacle toffee pudding with a creamy sweetness and delicate spices await, a breathtaking Mortlach and deceitfully mature.
